Yes, he did, Lorilynn! I've read all of his books to my children and my grandchildren! They are most fun to read out loud! :)
New to me also .. only today I was reading the Cat in the Hat to my grandchild...I think I even enjoyed it more than he did! :-)

September was Dr. Seuss month at my granddaughter’s school. She read so many of his books I now can say “I can read with my eyes shut” (1978).
